(or equivalent) in Mechanical/ Marine/ Automotive/ Mechtronics/ Industrial & Production/ Metallurgy/ Aeronautical/ Aerospace/ Control/ Electrical/ Electronics/ Tele-Communication/ Instrumentation/ Instrumentation and Control/ Electronics and Instrumentation/ Electronics and Communication/ Power Engineering/ Control System Engineering/ Power Electronics/ Computer Science Engg. from a institution recognized by AICTE with minimum 60% marks : Physical Standards : Height and Weight : Minimum height Male – 157 cms, 152 cms for Female with correlated weight. The last date of filling-up the online application form is October 25, 2010. 1. Read the notification of NET at www.ugcnetonline.in/notification.php 2. Scan passport size photograph in JPEG format. (less than 300kb) 3. Upload the right size photograph. 4. Download the Bank Challan at http://www.ugcnetonline.in/bank_challan.pdf and print it and deposit the required (application fee is different for various categories of candidates) application fee at nearest branch of State Bank of India. 5. After depositing the required fee at SBI, please click on the Apply Here button, OR through a link available on the UGC website: www.ugc.ac.in. 6. The envelope containing the Application Form should be superscribed "UGC NATIONAL ELIGIBILITY TEST FOR JUNIOR RESEARCH FELLOWSHIP AND ELIGIBILITY FOR LECTURESHIP, DECEMBER, 2010". 7. Applications received after the last date (i.e. 01.11.2010) at the test centre will not be accepted.
