Girls Dominated the boys in Mah-HSC results

Today, Maharashtra State Board of Secondary and Higher Secondary Education has announced Maharashtra class 12th results .From last few years Girls are dominating the boys and the story continued in this year too! The passing percentage of girls is 80.48 wherer as for Boys it is 73.17 .

A total of 1146899 fresh students appeared and the overall passing percentage of the HSC examination is 76.36%. NASIK Board as usual is the highest performing in these results having 82.04 overall passing percentage where as Amravati Board stood 2nd in the race with 81.53. and Kolhapur 3rd with 81.46. Pune Board with 81.30 is the fourth in standing while Mumbai Board is 76.69 is the fifth. Nagpur and Aurangabad scored 74.16 and 72.05 respectively. Latur Board was the least performer this year with 47.59

Stream wise analysis:
Talking about Science stream total 346644 students appeared out of which 297436 manage to escape and aggregating 85.80% where as 327843 passed the exams from arts out of 461087 giving overall passing percentage 71.10.Passing percentage for Commerce branch is 71.03 while that one for M.C.V.C is 88.55.
