Indian Oil needs 300 engineers in 2011 through GATE-2011

Applications are invited for the position of Engineers/ Graduate Apprentice Engineers (GAEs) for those who are appearing in the Graduate Aptitude Test in Engineers (GATE) 2011 :

* Engineers/ Graduate Apprentice Engineers (GAEs) : 300 posts in the disciplines of Chemical/ Civil/ Electrical/ Instrumentation/ Mechanical/ Matallurgical, Qualification : Bachelor of Engineering degree examinations with 65% marks (relaxation to pass class for SC/ST/PH) from recognized Indian Universities / Institutes. Candidates currently in final year of their engineering studies may also apply, Age : Maximum 26 years as on 30th June, 2011, relaxation as per rules., Pay : Candidates selected as GAEs for one-year apprenticeship training will be paid consolidated stipend Rs.20000/- per month and Engineers/Officers Rs.24900/- per month. Upon successful completion of apprenticeship training, they may be appointed as engineers.

Disciplines :

1. Chemical Engineering (Including Petrochemicals engineering)
2. Civil Engineering (excluding Construction/ Transportation engineering)
3. Electrical Engineering ( including Electrical & Electronics engineering but excluding Electrical & Communication/ Telecommunication engineering)
4. Instrumentation Engineering (Including Electronics & Instrumentation engineering but excluding Electronics & Communication engineering/ Telecommunication engineering)
5. Mechanical Engineering (excluding Production/ Manufacturing/ Industrial engineering)
6. Metallurgical Engineering

How to apply : The candidates will receive their GATE-2011 registration number printed on their admit card. On receipt of GATE registration number, the candidates need to apply in IndianOil online between 10/01/2011 and 12/02/2011.

Google India has added an "External Referral Program" where outsiders, or people who aren't employees of Google, also get an opportunity to refer candidates for some of the open positions that are available across Google offices in India.

If your referred candidate is hired by Google, they'll send you a cheque for Indian rupee 100,000.

The program works something like this – if you have a friend or a colleague who might be looking for a change, you can submit some of their basic details (like educational qualification, current employer, etc.) to Google through this online form.

Your job is done and Google's in-house recruitment team will take it from there.

You can make multiple recommendations and they'll award you with india rupee100,000 for each one of the successful referrals who gets through the selection process and joins Google.

Google's External Referral Program is valid only for the three requisitions mentioned in the main program document i.e. Software Engineer Bangalore, Software Engineer, Hyderabad and Software Engineer, Google.com, Bangalore.

The last data for sending referrals is October 15th 2010.
