ACT Test Dates and Locations

When should you take the ACT test for the 2010-2011 school year? Of course, you need to know about ACT test dates deadline and locations. SAT and ACT tests are standardized tests in the US for high school students, especially those hoping to go to college or university. There are also many home schooled pupils, and private schools, whose students also seek college and university admission.

US colleges and universities have therefore seen a need to implement national tests. These compare applicants from schools in different states and cities. ACT tests originally included English, Math, Reading and Science. In some states all students undergo ACT testing, and the state uses the results to compare the quality of education in different schools.

So when will ACT test for the 2010-2011 be? For the 2010 – 2011 School Year, ACT test dates and registration deadlines are:

October 23, 2011 (register by September 17 to avoid a late registration charge)
December 11, 2011 (register by November 5th to avoid a late registration charge)
February 12, 2012 (register by January 7 to avoid a late registration charge)
April 9, 2012 (register by March 4 to avoid a late registration charge)
June 11, 2012 (register by May 6 to avoid a late registration charge)

The other way to know about ACT test location and scheduled test dates, you can visit actstudent.org/regist/centers.html and then do searching by choosing state, territory and typing in part or all of the city or test center name.

If you have already known about ACT test dates deadline and locations, this information allows you to have time to study and retake the test if you do poorly and want to increase your score. Ideally, you want to take the test in December or earlier. Register for the test as soon as you can.
