KFC offers awards of $5,000 a year for four years toward an in-state bachelor’s degree at an accredited public university for funding tuition, book, room, board and other educational fees. It means if you are winner of KFC scholarship application 2011, you can receive $20,000 for four years to help complete your bachelor’s degree. It will be great award, right? So what are rules of KFC scholarship program? According to kfcscholars.org, to be eligible to compete for this scholarship program You must graduate from high school this academic year (between 12/1/10 and 8/31/11) with a minimum cumulative high school GPA of 2.75 You must attend a bachelor’s degree at a public, in-state college or university You must be a US citizen or permanent resident and demonstrate financial need You can complete KFC scholarship application 2011 via online at kfcscholars.org. The online application process begins on December 1, 2010 and deadline will be on February 9, 2011. Semifinalists will be announced on March and they will have to provide additional documentation. The updated news, I have heard that high school seniors have until Friday to tweet their way into a $20,000 scholarship from the KFC scholarship.
